Local rules of the 1st Junior PG Worlds have been approved
The local regulations of the 1st FAI Junior World Paragliding Championships have been approved by the CIVL Bureau and published on the competition website.
The event will be held in Slovenia, Tolmin on August 18 - 31, 2024. The registration is ongoing.
We invite all NACs to inform their junior pilots of this great opportunity.
The maximum number of pilots in the competition is 130. There is no limit on the maximum number of pilots that may be entered by a NAC. The maximum number of pilots constituting a national team will be adjusted according to the number of pilots per nation participating. It will be announced after the first allocation.
Eligibility to compete:
- All pilots MUST have a valid FAI sporting license.
- All pilots MUST have an IPPI card level 5.
- All pilots must be born in 1998 or later.
- In the 24 months before the ranking reference date, which is 3 calendar months before the championship starts, a pilot must have participated in at least one XC cat2 event.
