The CIVL Bureau is extending the deadline for submission of bids for future Cat 1 events to Jan 26, 2024. Here is the current list of events open to bidding.
 

• 2026 European Paragliding Championship -- 1 bid in progress.
• 2026 European Hang Gliding Class 1 -- no bid received.
• 2026 Pan-American Paragliding Championship -- no bid received.
• 2026 European Paragliding Accuracy Championship -- 1 bid in progress.
• 2026 Asian-Oceanic Paragliding Championship -- no bid received.
• 2026 Asian Paragliding Accuracy Championship -- 1 bid received.
• 2026 Pan-American Paragliding Accuracy Championship -- 1 bid received.
• 2026 World Junior Paragliding Championship -- no bid received.

Late bids should be recommended by the appropriate Committee (PG XC, HG XC, PG Acro or PGA) and approved by the Bureau. So far the following late bids are in progress:

• 2024 World Paragliding Aerobatics Championship  -- 1 bid in progress.
• 2024 Asian Paragliding Accuracy Championship  -- 1 bid in progress.
• 2025 World Paragliding Sport Class Championship (if approved by the Plenary) -- 1 bid in progress. NB! Sport Class bids are due on January 30, 2024.
