Fabio Loro will now co-chair the Paragliding XC Committee alongside Cristiano Pereira. Fabio and Cristiano have worked together at various PG events and have always been in creative cooperation. Co-charing will allow better monitoring of PG XC activities as both also have other CIVL duties: Fabio was appointed CIVL Safety officer and will remain in this position and Cristiano is the newly appointed CIVL Secretary, after Stephane Malbose's retirement earlier this year. Both of the chairs also have their regular business activities: Fabio manages Manta - one of the oldest Paragliding schools in Italy, located in Bassano del Grappa, and Cristiano oversees Flymaster flight instruments software development.

There are many topics to be tackled this year, including Sport Class ranking, FAI 1 continentals, improvements to the WPRS system, a potential light-weight class, and many others.
