IBD 2025-05 - Approval of Parachute-Ski World Championships 2026

IBD 2025-05 - Approval of 19th FAI World Parachute-Ski Championships, 2026

The 19th FAI World Parachute-Ski Championships were held in St. Johann im Pongau, Alpendorf, Austria from March 13-17, 2025.    Unfortunately, due to inclement weather, the competition could not take place, and Champions could not be declared.   The Austrian Aeroclub and the Organising Committee, HSV Red Bull Salzburg, have offered to hold the competition during the same timeframe next year, from March 12-16, 2026, and have requested that the Bureau of the International Skydiving Commission issue an Interim Bureau Decision (IBD) to allow the competition to take place.

With the support of the ISC Parachute-Ski Committee, the ISC Bureau has unanimously agreed to approve the proposal to host the World Championships and have issued IBD 2025-05.  The Bid from last year will remain valid, with the same entry fees, location and FAI Controller.
