Max Hjalmarsson is Business Development Manager at Volocopter. Volocopter is developing autonomous air taxi services with the goal to supplement public transportation in large cities. Volocopter's Mobility as a Service solution will be sustainable, quiet, and time efficient. The Volocopter is electrically powered and has the potential of being much safer than traditional helicopters due to the multiple redundancies in all flight critical systems. Volocopter has been flying regularly since 2011, both piloted and remotely piloted. Volocopter expects its first commercial air taxi routes to be up and running within the next 5 years.
